I am embarrassing. I dance in public. I sing in the car. I *gasp* kiss my kids at school drop off. All of which is MORTIFYING to them. So in true Dalporto fashion, my 9-year-old daughter has turned her complaints into song in her first ever parody! The Monster Mash reimagined as the Momster Mash. Whoo hoo!!!!! I am so incredibly proud of my beautiful girl for writing (all by herself!), singing, performing and sitting for endless hours with mommyΒ to edit this video. Even if she is making fun of me. Apparently the life sucker doesn't fall far from the tree. Enjoy! And please SHARE and SUBSCRIBE to our YouTube channel!
Fabulous! What a little star!
Aw, thank you! She’s pretty amazing. But I’m slightly biased π
This is so cute. I am sure I am just as embarrassing to my three children. I have a 13 year old daughter and 4 year old twins one boy one girl.
Aren’t we all? Sigh.
SHE IS SO ADORABLE I CANNOT STAAAAAANNND IIIIIIIIT

Thank you!
She wrote it all herself?!
Deva, enjoy it before she becomes a big celebrity!
She sure did! I tried to help and got slapped down. π I did offer the “hot flash” lyric and was thrilled when it made the cut. Hollywood is harsh! LOL
I have to say, as a teacher, your daughter is AWESOME! I hope she continues to write. I see she has a lot to inspire her and awesome parents to guide her. Great video! Would win her prizes in school video contests, I’m sure!
Aw, thank you! She loves writing. She actually won the Art Refelctions contest for video last year. I was so proud π
Absolutely perfect, Deva and totally a fan of the original, but yours is truly a hit, too for sure π
Awwww, thank you so much! She is LOVING these comments.
Awesome! I know there’s a public health message in there somewhere. Not so sure about drinking blood, though. It’s social/emotional engagement (public-health-speak) ! It’s moving more! It’s laughter! It’s smiles!
Thank you and thank your daughter and thank your amazing friends.
You don’t drink blood after the kids go down? LOL!!! Thanks for the kind words.
Very cute, Miss Dalporto!
thank you π
Awesome. My kids are only 16 months and 5. I’m pretty sure I already embarrass my 5 yr old son. It’s what us moms are supposed to do.
It’s in the official job description, right???
OMG I think this is one of my favs now! Its so beyond cute! All kids think their parents are beyond embarrassing. Its so cute that she turned it into a song. Don’t give my kid any ideas! LOL
Ha! I guess I was due for some public humiliation! LOL
That is all kinds of awesome! Love how creative your family is π!!!
She is absolutely adorable! She did an awesome job, too!
I embarrass my twelve year old daughter. Anything and everything her father and I do is “annoying” and “embarrassing.” We threaten her saying, “Well, we will just have to make an appearance at your first dance.” Lol
Your daughter is incredibly talented and smart — using the word “aghast” at 9 years old! Wow! I get so much joy out of following your blog! Thanks for the smiles!
That was amazing! What a talented little you have there!
